RE> AOL / USRX..as far as AOL goes she has been a sick system even before she
started piping nubies into the internet, AOL is a big Bulletin Board System,
and even in it's best days it never had the users that fido net had. It
furnished a few frills within it's inner circle that really impressed the heck
out of people who never saw the rest of the world. It is not an ISP..it is
at best a PROXY of one..and piping into the internet even when every thing
is working ( which is seldom ) is un-godly slow. As for impressive numbers
every one make such a big deal over she only has about .2% of 1%, of the people
on-line. That she will still sell her con act to nubies In have no doubt,
but she can't make money at it, that's the problem, she could double the
amount of users she has and will likely double her losses if she does.
I'm beginning to think people just want to hear the good news and live in a dream world, it's too much trouble for them to read the SEC filings, and
study them good, my god the company is digging a hole for itself, the
more people it gets the more it loses money..the chur rate they call normal
they won't even post a figure on,..so much for AOL it sucks.
Now we owe a lot to USRX..and it's been the leading edge and carried us forward
with R&D..my only caution about all the hype of AOL upgrading is to remind
people that this may not be some big bonanza for USRX..exactly what her connection to AOL is I'm not certain..but no matter that, she has just as much
chance of getting hurt as she does getting helped by this, so called upgrade,
as even AOL say they do not know how they are going to finance it, AOL does
not have the kind of money people seem to think it does, the so called
500 M budget, is just that a budget, it does not represent real money,
it's about the way congress does a budget..but congress can tax you, AOL
has to steal o make it's..refunds what a joke, were's the dough..they don't
even have it..and want people who have gotten sick of the meat, to accept
some more rotten meat as a refund.
USRX may not be impacted, but don't count of them getting rich because of
AOLs problems..some people bought into a lot of hype last year about USRX,
and lost about 40%of their dough..I don't see her stock price going down any
time soon..but like most techs, she is grossly overpriced.., and will never
pay any one enough dividends to justify the investment..
some people will profit if they get out at the right time, others will
lose their shirts..as so many have already done. They talk profits but
who really gets them..were do they go..building up a biz just to stay ahead
of all the others is a dead end street, no body stays out in front forever,
and what happens then..it's fantasy land, the entire tech sector is,
unless you are on the payroll its a joke.
