michael, Unph is the gorilla in lasers. Be happy about this combo, you will make lots of money. Uniphase has already sold out of product for the next year, and this past quarter they tripled their facility for production in Switzerland. Revenues have grown sequentially 6%, 7.5%, 11% and 17.7%. Gross margins are steadily climbing. Do not be fooled by the net earnings, because UNPH has been buying up companies and facilities and technologies as fast as it can. Then they take a charge, which reduces taxes and net earnings. Hang on for a great ride. IMHO wj
