Thinking more about yesterday's deal PR Newswire..we have a couple of things that may soon bubble to the surface of the mind of the market...With the "Business Uncut" channel, we now have the franchise channel, the lead tenant in the mall, the 4th hitter in the lineup or whatever other metaphor you like..it attracts traffic.

Also, as I understand it, PR Newwire sends out videos and text produced by their client companies(mainly public) to all manner of news organizations. From there, those organizations edit text, select portions of video to air etc. For example, CNBC will show 30 seconds(an eternity really, maybe Tony can comment about this). Now lets say they get the tape this afternoon by fed ex..it may not air till tomorrow.

With "Business Uncut" you can see it today and maybe for an investor get a little edge on the market about a stock.

Also, there is a growing controversy concerning the release and availability of news to investors by public companies. There has been criticism by investors and regulators about the early access institutional investors and analysts may get. For a public company, doing it this way over the web may reduce their potential liability.

Just a thought.
