Investors Business Daily earlier this week:
Right? Let me explain it to you in very basic accounting terms. When Greg Capelli DG this to a BUY...not a HOLD...but a BUY he gave his reasons as ADVERT revenues would be a drag on the revenue stream. But my question is how can 5% of a companies revenue accounted for a 38% drop in the stock price.
For all you daytrades out there, better cover your shorts this am because when sanity sets back in and the Institutions see the buying opportunity this goes back up. As for how fast, the ratios now show this BADBOY as oversold. Purely on an accounting basis, I can not see how First Boston came up with their numbers, maybe Greg and his cohorts wanted in on a good thing and knowing the volatility of the market, WOW! Why didnt't we see huge blocks come through? Answer, because the institutions weren't selling and those that did do not know the fundamentals of HALO's business. I sat back in utter amazement.
Two days ago the Investor's Business Daily (page A-21) had a nice 1/2 page spread on HALO. The IBD's sophisticated 6 year chart contained not only the technicals, but the Fund, Advisors, Banks & Insurance Companies and their respective position ownership. Very impressive to say the very least. Why would IBD run this article if they didn't think it a terrific investment. And ask yourself this question...WHY IN THE HELL DID THESE IDIOTS RELEASE THE NEWS DURING THE TRADING DAY....because 5% is 5%.....we aren't talking 20%, 30%, etc.....Maybe they thought no big deal, or maybe they wanted in!
This was a clear case of shaking out the weakhands (like rats jumping from a sinking ship), and once the daytraders got on baord, it sank like a rock. Ave Volume on HMK (approx 100,000 shares)indicates there isn't an interets in this STOCK as there would be with a YAHOO, etc. So of course, the timing will be deceiving. Want to bet this finishes in the 25-27 price range today? Earnings out on the 18th, god I can't wait! I am buying more at the open! This thing is a screaming buy, FYI, the price on this stock in DEC was mid to upper 20's, management made some strategic moves and boom...up she went. Again these are only MHO's so enough said.
