Ole 49r I'm not sure what to make of your post to me. I hadn't even heard of UNPH until earnings came out earlier this week. My earlier post was to try and get a feel for how they shaped up relative to JDS. As for the link you provided - I hold a few junior golds - all losers, so I don't think you want my "advice" - which is hardly insider info. Back to business: The merger is front page news in Canadian business papers today(Financial Post). Generally positive coverage. Biggest concern on the JDS thread is the tax implications for Cdn RSP (our version of IRA) investors, due to a max of 20% foreign content rules. Some of us are concerned the new firm may be considered foreign and hence we would have to sell holdings once the transaction occurs to stay within the rules. Not something I want to do. JDS has been my best holding next to CSCO. Feel free to follow me on my next expedition, but I doubt that lightning will strike twice so quickly.
