NEW YORK, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Prudential Security on Friday said it cut its rating on Security Dynamics Technologies Inc SDTI to hold from accumulate, a source at the securities firm said.

-- company reported fourth quarter profits yesterday $0.30 per diluted share.
