Gentlemen, I think I see a pattern here and it should be coming very quickly – early next month. Here are some thoughts.

Wasn't Robert Stempel hired in Jan. of whatever year ('94)? And, when was the announcement of the JV with GM announced? Was it Feb. of the same year? We may have a repeat of the same with Tyler Lowrey and Micron. As someone mentioned on this thread (Retiarius?), there is a 1.6 billion dollar (fab) plant that is just sitting there, moth-balled. Wouldn't Stan (ECD) be in a much better bargaining position with Micron the second go-round? Here is another interesting point. I heard that Mr. Stempel had purchased a large number of options for Feb – someone can verify the actual number. That thought, coupled with a positive second quarter report coming out on or about Feb. 17th, makes me feel very confident that we will be seeing and hearing a lot in the next month. One announcement, right after another, would do very nicely.

I missed the shareholders meeting last year, but I am definitely NOT going to miss it this year!

Fred: I'm still trying to finish that book (The Car That Could)… and Will! Does this qualify as a homework assignment? <G>

Here is a side thought. Since Chrysler did a merger not to long ago, and now Ford is attempting to purchase Volvo, doesn't it stand to reason that GM would be the next in line? Any ideas on a possible candidate, or is this thought totally off the wall?

I believe Fabeyes was correct… buy as much as you can. I believe it is going to be an electrifying ride UP! Gees, that reminds me, I should try and dig up some new electric car jokes. Humor is good for the soul.

Thoughts?
