Just a couple of things:

1. Cable is in its very early stages. I expect policy to change once cable gets a foothold of the market share, and there's only one company providing service. The gov't would have egg on its face going after Microsoft, yet letting cable companies monopolize cable.

2. It would cost nearly double for access (at least from what I read).

3. AOL, AOL, AOL. My friend's kids want AOL. I hooked them up with a cheaper better local ISP. They complained "My friends have AOL, we want AOL." I tried to explain, but they want their AOL.

4. Also from what I have read, phone ISP subscribers are not at all dissatisfied with 56K.

I also feel that the future is cable and DSL. I feel that the impact might not hit for another 2 years. I do feel that AOL and MSPG are here to stay.
