Did you see the 4Q results. No wonder Artie bailed. I guess the bright spot is, we can only do better. BTW--I noticed a new patent issued 12Jan99 to wit: Switched reluctance motor controller with sensorless rotor position detection. The invention relates to the field of controllers for switched reluctance motors. More particularly, the invention relates to a controller for a switched reluctance motor wherein a rotational position of a rotor of the motor is detected by the controller without the use of a position sensor.
