Taichi,

Lots of folks are ready to cave just before things get really good. Some of you guys sold shares last week! 3G is the only thing holding us back IMO. If Q prevails managments savvy will be respected,a flurry of licensing and royalty arrangemnts will be signed, and everyone will be forced to acknowledge Q's place on the board.Their expertise will be sought after. The ASIC division is an obvious winner and as far as I can tell, the phone manufacturing operation is starting to shine. Once you can make things work properly in one factory, it's not so difficult to duplicate your sucess elsewhere. This is how economies of scale are built. It's hard to imagine the size of the market we're talking about, the types of applications that will be devised for wireless, all the end user "mobile pc's" that will be sold. Q should try to and get as big a piece of the pie as possible. Many are suggesting they have have overreached, the same old story of too much hubris. It seems to me their vision is being vindicated as we speak.Perhaps phones might conflict with ASICs. I assume they'll resolve this conflict by either dominating both segments or by sticking to high margin niche pc/phones.And why should they get out of infrastructure. They seem to be saying they'll be able to up EPS this year by about 50%. That's good enough for me, especially when you consider the global environment. All of these divisions are holding the earnings leverage that Gregg keeps talking about. The most important thing at this point is to just keep moving along, making progress everywhere, and to grab that piece of turf right at THE CENTER of the chessboard....Dave
