<< Why do you think Democrat Senators are pushing so hard to avoid witnesses ? >>

I want witnesses, but I'll tell you why it might be a mistake. This Republican attempt to overthrow a US President is 90% politics and 10% law. They fly Monica from CA and put her up in a fancy, expensive hotel with a $5000 suite attached. We all know that some witnesses can be bought.

Also, Monica has testified 22 times and there is a mountain of testimony already available. The Republicans, who say that their minds have not been made up and that they are only searching for the truth are obviously lying. Does anyone really believe that the majority of the Republicans haven't made up their mind on impeaching Clinton? Bob Barr was asking for his impeachment before any evidence was shown and before the Monica tryst was even known.

To me, this Republican perjury and seemingly bribery of a witness is far worse than anything that Clinton is accused of.

<< Also, why are these same Senators so desesperate to prevent the videotape of the witnesses deposition of becoming public when prosecutors have vowed that there will little or no sex related topics ? >>

Again, there's tons of testimony from the Starr investigation. The Republican Party is ignoring most of this testimony and is trying to put on a desperate "hail mary" attempt to remove Clinton from office on a weak case. The responsible thing to do is end this partisan Republican cause ASAP and get back to work for the people. Anyone that wants this futile and embarrassing case to linger on, does not have the best interests of the people, or this country, in mind.
