Can someone tell me how OTEXF's software makes a company more efficient and effective. In other words, what is the return on my investment? I understand the features of the software product livelink - Search, Doc mgt, check in/out documents, document ownership, document routing and document collaboration. It sounds great... but who are the real customers that would use all these features!!! And how is their document management software "in reality" greater than just using the intranets of companies and web pages.... I am looking for applications and customers... I know we are using Livelink at Ford for some ISO9000 applications. Thats an ok application becuase you need document control.. But my impression that all the power of the livelink application is not being used because people don't see the need to use it! Mind you, everyone uses the Web for information sharing and access within Ford! Can anyone help me understand! thanks.... I would like to beleive too!
