Recovery Network Launches in Independence, Mo.
Jones Intercable to Add Programming
SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 29, 1999--Recovery Network (Nasdaq:RNET - news) and Jones Intercable of Independence, Mo. recently announced it will carry Recovery Network's cable television programming.
Over 70,000 cable homes served by Jones in the Independence area will be able to receive Recovery Network from 10 pm - 2 am on Channel 16 in Missouri and on Channel 20 in Kansas beginning Feb. 5, 1999. As Jones completes the upgrade of their system, approximately 2,000 additional homes per week will also have access to Recovery Network programming resulting in a total of 90,000 homes in the area by Spring '99.
