Yes but the fundamentals will reign

In two more quarters you have NT5 and a MSFT FUD campaign like you have never seen before. They will position themselves to be the leader in internet commerce plumbing. Tout their directory as the way to go and promote a vendor centric model of transaction verification versus a network centric model. Even ToySoldier admits that MSFT is going to promise the moon with its directory.

I wonder if any of the seven analysts (there are more than that by the way, just listen to the conference calls, what Bernie is saying is that he doesn't hear about Novell much from analysts) has the guts to ask Schmidt to comment on his internet leader remarks of a few years ago?

Novell really has to take Digital Me seriously. Technically it may be based upon Zenworks but Zenworks is for IT managers. Digital ME is for the internet. One shouldn't confuse these markets.

Novell has to push resource into Digital Me just the way Jim Clark pushed resource into Netscapes browser. The silence coming from senior management on Digital Me is deafening.
