<<In fact, I don't care about what the other countries think - my government is protecting my interests by ensuring stability where my energy comes from.>>

Sorry to but in, but this thread is getting too political.
Come to think of it, though, what could be more political
than oil.

Your energy comes from North America. The Mid-east is not
essential, but nevertheless controls pricing. Funny how the
Europeans who depend more on the Middle East seem less
concerned about Iraq. I am trying to come up with an economic
model for the price of oil that includes the value of a human life.
(I can hear it now: "Johnny (or Mohammed) died for cheap oil - aren't you proud of him ?") All this Iraq business (us versus them)
is wrapped up in flags on both sides..but really...it's about oil, stupid !!! US policy in the middle east isn't helping the Arabs
(aside from ruling families), and it isn't helping my friends in Texas. By the way, comments about the US being "one of the few
countries in the world where you can get the "real" story indicates
you don't get around much. Do you read anything other than USA Today ???

P.S. #1 Sorry for venting, but I'm beginning to see oil stains
on the flag.
P.S. #2 Bought VTS today at 11 7/8 - a good buy.
