Paul , thanks for reply but the Intel reference was to 386/486 you supplied the comment on Pentium . The BW article also mentioned that Dham was instrumental in a redesign of K5 . Back in 1995 there were a number of articles in the press regarding Nexgen and Vinod Dham's importance as I recall he was chief of the design team for Pentium . The best way to settle this discussion would be for him or another AMD employee to post something here on the AMD thread . Anyone at AMD listening ? regards
