The problem with this impeachment situation is that the Democrats are trying to put the toothpaste back in the tube after Clinton stepped on it, repeateadly, with both feet.
It's not going to work. It cannot work in the context of the present judicial system.
We all know deep in our hearts that Clinton committed perjury and obstruction of justice, and no ammount of wiggling, spinning, screaming, praying, jumping, or snoozing is going to change this.
Clinton is responsible for this mess, and he should have resigned a long time ago.
Again, I will say that I'm ready to accept 50 years, or for that matter, 5000 years of a Democrat who has integrity in the White House, if Clinton would resign or be booted out. |
