Market trend and the new economy policy!

Days of shorting stocks are short now a days. When all business are improving with the economy. Stock pickers are always behind index advances in timing or momemtum. All stocks eventually go up when the market broadens. However, the small caps lacks the attention of the large moneys going into 401k. Large caps still rule the day.

More and more investors turn to turn arounds. Investors want to own the companies. Talk to the CEO's; tell them to improve productivity, improve shareholders equity, tell them to improve quality, get more efficiency and spend only if cost effective. Wonderful to take charge of your own destiny.

Picking losers is now a fad and fancy. No place to make big money unless you can turn companies around. 3-5 years of holding needed to do a good job. Give me my 1000% profits!
