Bob, the problems posed by the MMTM spinoff are much greater IMO than those posed by the SEC letter. If the subtext in the NYTimes is true, then the spinoff has no real business purpose, but is simply an attempt to push costs onto an accounting entity that appears to be unrelated, but is, in fact controlled and directed by PSFT. I must confess that I didn't pay much attention to this issue at the time, but it is beginning to stink.
