carl, You say your looking for a good reason to buy AMD. Here is my last shot at an explanation for you and any others who need to see the picture. If memory serves me correctly your last Intel buy was at $126. So 1,000.00 shrs. of Intel would set you back $126,000.00 Alternativly the $126,000.00 would have bought you 5,250 shares @ $24. BETTER THAN A 5 TO 1 RATIO, more an this below. Since the time you bought Intc @ $126 it has moved to a respectable $162 or $162,000.00 Meanwhile the AMD alternative shares went from $24. to $36. so the AMD shares are worth $189,000.00 Now you said your greedy and it's all about money, but during this time framed AMD as incredible as it may seem to sound managed to outperfrom Intel. Your continued procrastionation cost you $27,000 and this fourth picture down please hiltoncom
The approximate cost of 30 sunfilled days Idely spent tied to a plam tree, sipping mithia's ALL EXPENSES PAID COMPLEMENTS OF JERRY SANDERS AND TEAM AMD.
The 5 to 1 ratio gives you leverage I know you understand that because you said your fully margined. It also means it's easier to spent .20 than it is to spent $1.00 again a 5to1 ratio. Intel has to earn a buck ( or $9.00)while AMD only has to earn .20 (or $1.80)with nearly the same financial result so which company has to work harder to make it happen? We all know Intc is a great company, in final analysis they guys on this thread aren't intel bashers. But the guys who bought AMD understnad leverage and how to put it to there advantage. I have thought long and hard about how to convince you, my other Idead was an anvil droped from the ceiling but I discarded it infavor of the one above instead. You could be the guy in the picture if you want to be but you have to forget about the past, forgive Mr.Sanders if you must Its the only thing stopping you from being the guy in the hammock, So what do you say should I call the mani lani and tell them to string another hamock and pour a mithia for you? |
