CWEI attacked on AOL thread by STKWINGUY

There is a person who has posted a lot of negative comments about
CWEI on the AOL thread. The foundation of his attack appears to be
completely based on what CWEI did in year 1995 and before--he said
the information came off the Motley Fool Board. I updated the
tables, he posted that were Emailed to me, with current information
asking that this updated information be posted back on the AOL
thread. The person posting obviously doesn't have the whole story
on CWEI and is ignorant. The body of his letter follows:

1) Sales DOWN each year
2) Profit Margin about the worst for an oil company in a growth
industry
3) 1997 First Call Earnings estimate for the year DOWN 28%
What else do we have to know?
It looks to me like that nice big increase in earnings for the
December quarter, and year ending December, 1996 is your last
opportunity to sell out before the downtrend starts. With 1997
earnings projected to decrease 28% you can assume the future stock
price will do AT LEAST as bad. The market looks ahead about six
months and has already discounted 1996 earnings, and six months ahead
doesn't look like growth to me. Some are asking what is wrong with
this stock? Why isn't it moving? Why is the PE so low? NOW YOU KNOW!
There are great growth companies out there, and this is not one of
them. The following are company facts available from the Motley
Fool:--Note from Buzz: I updated this adding in 1996-1998 and
deleting 1991-1992 (CWEI went public in 1993)--I also added in the
current estimates from the various brokerages.

Analysts are not including any income from pinnacle reef wells in their estimates--discoveries as a result of CWEI's exploration will be additional income.
