Ken, you omitted one very important point of interest from the conference call, but i am sure many missed it because it was not elaborated upon. That was i believe Deed's mention of applying the Wavetop technology to overseas broadcasters. Perhaps this would explain the recent flurry of travel by high level WAVO execs to the UK most recently. Is there a better arena to test feasibility of foreign markets penetration? He mentioned e-tail consumer's were being frustrated by time consuming searches within popular American based sites. There are a hell of a lot more relays and switching involved with an overseas link. But the most important factor for telephone modem connections in Europe is an economic one.

This may be one of the upcoming announcements that Deed's promised in February. I previously posted my reasons for this belief on Yahoo and will repost it here along with a reply from a foreign investor in WAVO. I also had received some info that a statement was going to to be released concerning Europe, and my source noted it would be out in January. Source is credible as per my past experiences with him, however his calls regarding the timing have never been very
accurate.

MY POST FROM YAHOO

>>> I am anxiously awaiting some announcement to confirm the rumor of penetration into the European marketplace. Unlike the situation in the USA, telephone service is costly and timed in most countries. The use
of WavePhore and tuner cards should proliferate quickly over there. With an untimed 10.2 cent telephone call and a $20.00 a month ISP fee, most Americans can spend hours on the web and not give it a second thought. Unlike most Americans, Europeans have a strong an economic incentive to utilize this technology. <<<

Mr. Luckyman is incredibly correct about the problem of paying for phone time in Europe. I live in Israel and
pay through the nose for local service. I wrote WavePhore a month or so ago telling them how much internet
users who live ourside of the U.S. could benefit from WavePhore's services. I also pointed out that American
websites can be very sluggish because of the number of connections it takes to get there, virtually speaking.
They wrote back that my letter had been forwarded to the appropriate department.

I really hope they get a clue and get things going overseas.

P.S. Can anyone think of something a little more clever than what I came up with for what W.A.V.O. stands
for? How 'bout a little contest...
