Spots/Clarence, [DOS cmd syntax] Not sure when or where, but sometime between DOS6 when a dos command of "help" brought up a menu of commands and other topics, and Win98 where that don't happen, MS moved the syntax internal to the command. I.e. "format /?" in the dos window will yield an impressively obtuse description of the operations of the format command. <g> Happy Dos-ing, Paul
