Wouldn't a decrease in inventory of both OO and B&L result in lower projected profits for RAYS?

I understand the concept of reducing inventory to cut flooring costs, but I would think RAYS would need to be building their inventory slowly (as spring and summer approach).

In this scenario, who wins OO or RAYS or neither?
