I hope so, too. Actually, I think 1999 will be a good year for telecommunications; the industry as a whole seems to be doing some really great things...worldwide.

Out of curiosity, I checked the new TUTS thread and found a couple of posts that I though investors of PAIR might find interesting:

<2.5 million shares at $18 each> TUTS warning:

Guys -- I am only here for a second to give you a warning: Appx. 6 months ago, at the
request of several people, we did considerable DD on this Co. While it looks great on
the surface, and 2 or 3 levels sub-surface, it is not a pretty picture. Unless you have
thoroughly read the Registration Statement and everything else about this Co., IMHO,
be very careful buying -- well, holding -- if it opens on the secondary mkt. much higher
than the IPO price (= 18 )

As always, do your own DD, identify your own objectives, and make your own
decisions.

Good Luck on all your trading.

You can't compare COVD and TUTS, it's complete different.
You can compare TUTS with WSTL, ORCTF, PAIR and other ADSL product.
TUTS is over values . WHo is their customer. RBOC used ORCTF, WSTL
PAIR because it's cheap.

COVAD is backbone for ISP and it's PCLEC with FRAME and ATM networks

Happy trading
