Daniel,

Very good post. Like I said before, you
know more than you let on. I agree much
with the material presented. Today, it
seems that any President's popularity is
really linked to the economy. Its too bad
really because its not like a President
has all that much control over a 7 trillion
dollar GDP like the United States.

The only real reason Clinton is being
punished so hard right now is that he
violated two principles set out by the
father of Political Science, Machiavelli.
In the book "The Prince", Machiavelli
noted that only way a Prince could
infuriate his subjects would be to either
take their property, or make use of their
wives and daughters. Clinton threatened
everyones healthcare in 1994 with a massive
government takeover and hit rock bottom
in the polls. He learned his lesson but
then he took advantage of the women. Now
the boy is on trial in the Senate. He will
survive but he damaged his Princedom.
