You definitely can boot off the Zip drive.

Mac has no problem at all. The higher the SCSI ID the better as far as boot order.

PC can boot off of SCSI Zip as long as you have an adapter that supports booting off of a removable.

PC can also boot off of a IDE. I am positive!!! It has the ability to replace a floppy in the boot sequence or a hard disk.

The slave only feature comes into play if you have an IDE hard disk. I will post more details later.

Don't get to up tight about it, because you can be sure that any issues that are solvable related to booting are likely already under investigation by Iomega. This is certainly important to them and to their OEMs.
