AvantGo continues to sign content partners
28 January 1999 -- AvantGo, the developer of software for managing mobile
information, is continuing to grow its list of over 1000 content partners,
notably with the addition of CNNfn and InfoSpace.com.
Using a desktop conduit and client software, which is available for both
the Palm Computing platform and Microsoft Windows CE, AvantGo transfers
channels of internet content to mobile devices whenever they are
syncronised. CNNfn, the provider of financial news and InfoSpace.com, the
company behind much of the content found on portal sites, join other famous
brand names such as USAToday, The Wall Street Jounral and The New York
Times. CNNfn will provide its complete financial content and InfoSpace.com
will offer several channels, ranging from technology news to sports scores.
