If this story had been about Ronald Reagan, Dan Quayle, or heaven forbid, Newt Gngrich, would they exhibit the same blatant censorship and not air the story? And this is from the same organization whose CNBC division is quick to air Larry Flint on Heraldo Rvera's show.
It is not as if the Juanita Broaddrick allegations are new, they appear in the Starr Report. Further, it was this story that allegedly swayed many House Republicans to vote in favor of impeachment. It defies me that they would refuse to run this story, even after Lisa Meyers gave her assurances to Juanita Broaddrick that this story would run on NBC.
It is shocking that corroborated allegations of rape by the President of the US, allegations that were investigated by the Independent Council, is being spiked by this network.
Their inconsistency and blatant bias in dealing with wrong doings by a liberal politician is appalling. If these wrong doings were done by a Republican, they would have a zeal to get this story out. There would not be the turmoil within their organization that currently exists. The corrupt, blatant double standard that exists within NBC is appalling, revolting, and repugnant.
