I agree it's unlikely UNEWY would pay $22. But if they do get in at half of market, wouldn't it require shareholder approval? Not that shareholders wouldn't approve it, but there would be a timing issue.
It's also puzzling to me that there's no VDAT action on this board (or, for that matter, the Fool). Yahoo! has been a valuable (if not consistent) source of info. Looks like the techies just haven't "gotten it" yet. Not that VDAT is a technology company, but as a pure Internet multimedia play I have yet to find a better one. BCST gets a lot of hype but I'll pit my actual VDAT/VDATW returns of 200+% and 1400+% respectively against those of BCST holders (unless they got the "official" IPO price, few if any little guys did).
I continue to believe that even after a 10x runup in price since last Sept, at $15 VDAT remains an "undiscovered" stock - no coverage, no significant institutional action, few MMs, little visibility. That means there should still be a good pop when it breaks out, to $25-30 or more. Hope Stern & Co can get them on track in the PR arena; whoever they were using (or not using) up to now has sure disappointed. Not sure I can see what the upper limit will be once it does get discovered. Might be a stretch to see it becoming an IBM, Microsoft, or Disney of the interactive multimedia age. But then again maybe not. Certainly for now it's a keeper.
