I'll try to fill in a bit more. I know unclewest took notes, so you'll get more complete coverage later. Regarding the cancellation of Chromatic and Cirrus controllers, Tate said they are "not due to Rambus." They are sending people all over to provide consulting and handholding, hence the increased expenses. Tate cited the well attented seminars in Taiwan (which you may have read about in one of the recent posts by REH). He said in passing that the Taiwanese manufactures are going to play an increasingly more important role in producing Rambus systems. Tate said that Rambus has to date more than 70 design wins. Last year's design win with Compaq's Alpha systems is apparently considered very significant. I could ramble on, but we'll soon get reports from others. -woodside
