Important: To All: Go read the last few posts on the Rock Resources thread! The last piece of the puzzle has come together on Altos De Lipangue. It explains why Lipanuge is unique. Glaciation has not eroded away the Supergene enrichment zone! The enormous copper porphyry in Northern Chile have terrific supergene enrichment zones. However, the primary metal is copper. In central Chile, the porphyry contain more gold. However, glaciation eroded away the supergene zones in the porphyry high in the Andes. Lipangue is in the coastal range. It was subject to little or no erosion caused by glaciation! Can you put two and two together?! By the way, the IP confirms this!
