KYA27, Would you or some other knowledgeable techy answer the following question? I've got several PC's at home and at my small business, all with 56k modems using AOL. The only cable outlets I have are connected to my TV sets. I have phone outlets in every room. If I had the option to get broadband from cable or phone, wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just replace my 56k internal modems with ADSL modems and reconnect the phone line, rather than rewiring my house and office with new cable lines and buying or renting external cable modems? In other words, I know cable modems are faster but that's not my only consideration. I think that 1mbps or whatever the speed turns out to be will be plenty fast enough for me. I'm more concerned with the initial cost, ease of installation and reliability. I assume the monthly fees for phone or cable will be similar and therefore not a factor in my decision. Thanks, Lee
