So you wanted to know some info on the number of physicians in the United States? Here is an interesting link on information from 1996:

As you can see from the list, there are a quarter million PCPs in the United States.

If only 30% of them wrote 1 MUSE script per month we would be doing 18,750 prescriptions a week. And this doesn't include internists, urologists, cardiologists, etc.

The United States has over 650,000 lisenced practicing doctors.

Now that Viagra has changed the way ED is treated, it is these 250,000 or so PCPs who are going to determine where MUSE is headed in the United States. So far, I believe that most have written prescriptions for Viagra so technically they now are willing to treat ED.

I guess the question is how many of these PCPs will be interested in prescribing MUSE once a domestic sales force is able to detail the product?
