No, it just *looked* like a train wreck (special effects) early on. And to be honest, for about 40 minutes my body felt like one hit it. Well, what can you expect? I started out as a gonzo investor, and the primary rule is that itÕs important to feel those emotions, from panic to Euphoria. But Those highs and lows can make you sell when itÕs moving down, or buy more when itÕs going up. Not good. Too emotional... After strong support came in at 4-4 1/2, I started realizing that this oneÕs not going to take me down to the bottom again- not for a while anyhow. So To chill out, I put on a couple of great John Fahey albums a friend sent to me and it was very therapeutic. FaheyÕs a very unique guitarist. Practically invented the New Age music genre single handedly. His music allowed me to slow my mind down enough to actually contemplate whatÕs been happening for the last few weeks, and to start thinking about where the New Age Ampex is likely to take us within the next few months, and *beyond*. CanÕt crystallize it for you, but today is the first day that itÕs starting to develop into a quiet confidence. IÕm sure some of the eternal longs here already know what IÕm talking about. All I've ever been able to do is make money with the stock, but I never understood why. ItÕs been a great week. Nevertheless, IÕll sleep well over this weekend. IÕll need it. Come next week, itÕs back to Gonzo Land. Not quite so gonzo anymore. This week has let me shed off one more layer of skin- The metamorphose continues..............Al
P.S. Hal, Ed, Gus, Flickerful, Jubimer,Cousin Eddie, Karen-anyone- tell me again about the bunny rabbits. Tell me how someday weÕre all going to live off the fat of the land......I want to take care of the bunny rabbits, okay?....You promised I could take care of the bunny rabbits, right? |
