DaiS, You make a very good point. In fact I don't know exactly how it works but when Vivus signs up a domestic partner they will get a large milestone payment of at least $25M. If they are smart and if it is legal, they should keep it under wraps and buy back as many shares of stock (under 3) as they can with let's say at least 1/2 of the milestone money. How else can they buy back shares this cheap? The announcement of a domestic partner alone is going to make the share price rapidly inflate only to ruin an excellent buying opportunity.
