Two permutations to the pending JDS deal that have been discussed to a minor degree on the JDS thread are:
-Corning stepping up to the plate and try to take out JDS.
-Corning waiting until the deal has closed with UNPH and JDS the making a bid for the new company.

Any thoughts?
