Were you in hiding the last two weeks? AOL has simply bypassed cable for the moment.

"AOL's bid to have cable lines freed up was unsuccessful. If this continues, they have no chance against cable internet as it gets cheaper."

I can only assume from your post above that you have no clue as to the meaning and ramification of AOL's agreement with Bell Atlantic to offer high speed Internet access or the other agreements with RBOC's/Telecos that will no doubt be inked during '99.
