John, IDC shows DELL with 2.289 million units for Q4. This represents 14% sequential
growth for Q4. This represents approximately $0.33 eps without Data Storage. Unless I
get better numbers from Data Storage it looks like we're coming in between $0.36 and
$0.39 eps.

Best Regards, Gabriel

Significantly, but no one knew how well DELL would penetrate the Data Storage
market. IDC reported that DELL generated $946 million in Data Storage in 1998, the
bulk coming in the 4th quarter. The impact of this new business category on DELL's
earnings could range between $0.03 and $0.07 per share.
