Dwayne, You asked where do I think NYRR will open Monday? There are so many possible variables I would not care to hazard a guess at this time! What are some of the variables? When will the new President and CEO of NYRR be announced? Has he or she already been selected? Is NYRR still in line for the grant money? What is the status of the Conrail legal scenario? and so on!!!! JMO! However what I will offer is a brief update as to a prediction that you invited from the members from this thread in December! As I recall only the two of us responded--at that time we both offered our predictions and time frame and reasons/opinions supporting our predictions/ speculative guess work. In recapping my prediction was that NYRR would reach .44 cents by March 30, 1999--provided a number of scenarios had developed at NYRR in addition I felt that approximately 80 Million shares needed to be traded from the period December 5, 1998 to March 30, 1999. Well until recently the volume has been dragging it's feet ( as far as supporting my prediction) however in four of the last five days NYRR has over 1 million shares on four of the days. 36 trading days have passed since the time frame started for the predictions and NYRR has traded a total of 17,212,000 shares during that time frame! The daily average of those 36 days is 478,111 shares ----so based on the most recent five days it bodes well with the increased trading volume! I think it was Subman's opinion that he was expecting to see higher share trading days from this point forward. I think the anticipation on the street is who the new leader of NYRR will be?--I imagine that the speculation will begin to build closer to the time the decision is made or announced! Actually it looks like the interest level is already starting to kick in based on today's share price close and increased trading volume. JMO! I also had a few other qualifiers to achieve my share price predictions --one of them was that NYRR was reporting by March 30th. and that some resolution regarding the Conrail lawsuit be achieved by that time frame. Well enough blah! blah! blah! from me! On a selfish note --I wouldn't mind the opportunity of picking up a few more NYRR shares in the .18 cent range or lower in the early part of next week--is that wishful thinking?--I have no idea!--If it goes up then that is also good as I do have shares and we have many NYRR followers that have been loyal to the NYRR cause for some time--and I would be thrilled to see it go in the direction of UP for everyone's sake!
