looking at many SI threads & forbes, business week, wsj, bus invstr daily, fortune i am beginning to suspect that a lot of money will be shifting from stocks like msft, csco, dell, intc, lu TO aol, lycos, yahoo & other "blue chip" net stocks.

granted, csco & msft are internet plays but sense that $s will flow to PURE internet plays that now emerge as "peers" in terms of risk/reward.

phenomenal gains (relative to the rest of market) have been seen for holders of tech giants such as msft, intc, dell for several years. betting that longstanding investors in these stocks are now less satiated with the stellar returns these stocks have provided ( and may continue to provide). sort of like an addiction, where 50%-plus annual returns no longer do the job...now craving for prospects of higher returns afforded by (again) "blue chip" techs.

betting, thru shift of my stocks that funds will flow from "backbone" tech camp to net camp--particularly after dell earnings & splits for msft/intc...been wrong before
