gene,
I have been thinking about selling some naked puts on Dell. Wouldn't it be wise to wait until after Dell's earnings announcement to write naked puts. If I recall correctly, Dell has a habit of selling off after their earnings announcements. The price dips, Bases, and then starts climbing again. I'm thinking about selling puts toward the end of the price dip, or the start of the basing period.

Relatively simple strategy, what do you think?
