Dennis,

Who was that masked man that predicted MDT would hit $100. I think post #378 would answer that question. Next MDT is ready for a major breakout going forward. AVEI sales growth is now being impeded by the release of the Duet by GDT. But pricing on stents are holding and growth is continuing. GDT is doing great and AVEI will show growth but somewhat slowed this past two months. MDT will be taking restructuring charges with the AVEI and SDG mergers that got completed this week. MDT may take this opportunity to clean it's slate and be off to the races for the fourth qtr which starts this next Monday.

This is not to say that MDT did not due well in the qtr that just ended today (Friday Jan 29). Take a look at the press release on the Kappa 700 pacemaker that was released today!!! Steve Mahle (Sr Vice President of MDT) states "Since the late October release of the Gem DR defibrillator in the US we have experienced very rapid revenue growth in tacharrythmia, dramatically EXCEEDING our expectations..." This growth has been taken away from GDT. This can explain the movement in MDT stock as soon as this press release hit the wire. It was not a reaction to the actual release of the device but to Mr Mahle's statement with the release.

Keep every share of MDT that you own now and jump on this bullet train to $100.

All aboard,
Mike
