I just saw your post re: scrh and thought this might be interesting. I talked with Edward Palmer IR at scrh 614-276-8402 the middle of Jan. and asked for an overview. Here is what he told me. They have three personal tablet (his terminology) companies, and 2 laptop companies using or committed to using their tech. He estimates there are 40 opportunities in the market. Counting NCR, they have 6. They look to have their first profitable qtr the end of 97 showing a $1-1.25 mil loss for the year. Their 98 plan projects a profit for the year on $10-12 mil in revs. I asked about the 4th qtr price drop and his response was that he felt it was year end tax loss selling. Said price movement had stabilized since then and had improved since the new year. I think a drop from the $.75 to $.10 range is a bit more than tax loss selling. There are no new products planned for 97 however they expect additional design wins for "right touch". The rev. from the PO installations should begin showing up in the Mar-Apr time frame. Would not give me a number. They are on a schedule with the IRS to take care of their small tax problems inherited with the acquisition for ColorRay. Anyone else who has the interest and can call them may get additional perspectives.
