Actually, Perio's intended IPO was being handled by two friends of mine -- one from Smith Barney (the lead underwriter), and the other a managing partner at Arthur Andersen (the accounting firm on this deal).

According to my information, the road show was cut short, and the IPO thwarted -- but not because of a decision from ICL, nor FDA approval. It appears there were other problems having to do with procuring the required investments. Too bad. The company has great potential, and I hope this setback won't have any long-term effects.

Nothing to do now, but wait and see how this turns out.
