Steve,

i guess you don't shop at Nordstrom's...would you elect to have a heart valve made by Medtronics or Home Depot?

Home Depot is awesome. They have great prices on double-paned windows. I haven't seen their medical supply department however.

I work extensively on computers with Intel, Sparc, and Cyrix processors. I've also spent a fair amount of time benchmarking AMD and IDT processors. The Sparc processors seem to be the most reliable, although that is probably a function of the OS. I have never been able to detect any reliability differences between Intel, Cyrix, AMD and IDT. They all seem to be quite robust, given the limitation that they are running Microsoft's operating systems.
