Michael you are a re-subscriber and even more 'valued' in the fact that you did re-subscribe. This is the second time in about 3 months that you have given us your vocal opinion of the service and I don't mind that in itself. But I have to weigh all the feedback from everyone and not focus on one person even though he might make the statement more vocally than the silent majority. He is still only 1 person with one vote and not a representative of the people no matter how loud that voice gets.

I have gathered the input from the thread and my decision now remains immutable. The stocks for the thread should actually almost be ignored by subscribers especially the novices. They will hang around to hear some of the intraday updates and for general education and discourse. I bring about 5-10 picks a week and other threads have long lists of 50 or more stocks that are bandied about all day or at the other extreme 1 or 2 stocks are analysed and dissected all day. ad nauseum

This is my effort and final decision on how to maintain a balance when we have our new numbering system fully established. It is working very well as we began successfully for 2 days according to 88 e-mail since yesterday from who were able to get into the more obscure picks like ZRAN, CNCX,AMTR,GSPT, AZA and EWBX as well as the better known ones like NSOL, GCTY and MSPG which I did call BEFORE the merger. Actually maybe it would have been better not to 'disturb' the thread or subscribers with my bullishness on GCTY and NSOL. There are enough picks to go around without A newcomer to the thread feeling uncomfortable when we do use the numbers.

I also don't appreciate your attitude and in 20,000 posts I've never said that even once before to anyone. If you don't see the difference between a fully analysed and charted newsletter that selects about 20-25 stocks from a universe of 8,000 earnings plays with 85% accuracy on the 'calls' and an additional daily watch list with resistance points, relevant news and handy intraday hints on SI as slightly more than you get off the thread alone than I won't explain it to you.

The fact that this discourse should have been as a PM only indicates more than an honest effort to improve a service but rather a desire to 'stand out' to dominate and even to control and you have the wrong person for that.

By next earnings season (April 1999) we are going to separate the 'siamese' twins that was the newsletter and the watch list into the newsletter and/or the watchlist. Our new partners have agreed to this and I have agreed as well. we are going to part of the AB Watley service and now they have input as to how we do our thing.

There is no way I'll reduce the quality of both of them into a 'quick-take out' meal at Mcdonalds for convenience alone. The newsletter will have 20-25 picks a week to choose from, and the watch list will have 7 a day. The watch list picks are meant to be 'discarded' after 3-4 trading sessions so I don't see a problem at all there. One will be geared for the technical momentum player who likes a dash of fundamental analysis in his plays and the other will be for the more discriminating swing/short term trader who just might decide to keep the stock as a short term investment and is very interested in the fundamental/value/growth prospects of our stock selections.. The newsletter will continue exactly as it is in the present format. The watch list will be to 7-8 picks with analysis. The prices will be different since you will have to choose which you want and if you want them both (which you probably won't) it will cost more.

you were not around when I mentioned it but we were picked up by a third party research company that 'sells' research to their clients and have 'bought' a number of our yearly subscriptions for them. So it goes without saying I won't cut them down any more to a 'workable' 3 or 6 like a cash 'n carry grocery.

In addition subscribers will be privy to some intraday help and updates on the stocks.. The non-subscriber will be privy to everything like the 'upgrades/downgrades' I call news items.. about 5 picks for the thread, help with opinions on trading, stocks and whatever some entry positions when I choose to do so.
You can't vote on this it's done. Ironically I have never been so sure of a decision in the last few months like i am with everything now. Everything fits correctly and if it isn't broke, I won't fix it.

I would also prefer you to answer this by PM or whatever you want to do is fine with me. .. If you know the last sentence of Gone With the Wind, that is the way I feel about it......
