leebo,

Noticed that you haven't posted on the CNXS thread in a while. Thought I would give you an update since you last posted.

The stock broke out of an ascending triangle formation on Friday and is now trading over 16. Chart TA confirms a short term "cup and handle" formation. Trend-line analysis is also bullish.

I have a relative who owns several Rexall stores in Tennessee. One of his pharmacy school buddies started the HARCO chain. My relative says that sales for the strip are increasing and that he is currently sold-out in two stores (he orders electronically on a two week cycle). He also said that he has seen an increase in orders from nursing homes (he sells to the homes under that Tenn-Care deal). He made an inquiry to one of them and said that doctors are prescribing them for patients on nasal oxygen systems. I don't know if there has been any scientific analysis that shows an increase in oxygen absorbtion when the Breath-Rite strip is used with these systems (my relative said he could get information about Harco's sales).

I'm not a "loyalty" type investor. I like trading stocks and options based on fundamentals and volatility. When CNXS reported earnings in line with analysts expectations, I felt that they had been oversold from a technical standpoint, and I've made a little change on the calls. If I sensed that the product was all hype and that the technicals were going to be negative, I'd short this thing immediately.

I mention all of this because in previous posts you have indicated that you think the strip is a fad product. If so, what observations have you made that lead you to this conclusion? Do you sell any of the product in your stores? Have sales been dropping? Do customers ever inquire about the product? Are you an independent retail pharmacist, or do you work for a large chain or a hospital? Any insight you have would be appreciated.
