Maybe even your house itself? We need to gather wood, of course; there is a huge need for it to preserve human survival. So the fact that they chop AND then REPLANT to me is great (and I've heard they plant 2 trees for every 1 they chop down). They also don't clear cut, so ecosystem damage is minimized. What worries me is that they are selling most of the land now (3/4?). Who can know what the new owners will do?! I'm way long and will hold indefinitely, but I hope they will sell the land only to another company that will respect, as you say, the sacredness of it, the way--I feel--Madera has. Only then will I be truly happy about all the millions$$$ the sale will bring... Jeff
