Technology Stocks : FSII - The Worst is Over?

The month of January was a great one for going long in the
semi-equips. The rate of rise essentially matched the rate occurring
during the 8 week period in October and November of last year.

All 41 stocks were up for the month. 2 of the stocks, LRCX and CYMI,
were up over 100 percent. The group of 41 was up 36 percent for the
month while the SOX-X was up 20 percent. 26 of the stocks were up 30
percent or better. FSII was up 34 percent.

Below the table of stocks is a performance summary of the last 4
months. During October and November the uptrend was very strong.
During December the trend was essentially flat. Now, during this
past January, the strong uptrend of Oct/Nov returned.
